Weekly Classes
At the Schoolhouse, we are proud to be more than just a Museum! We offer an array of educational
programming for children ages 18 months - 7 years.
These developmentally appropriate, interactive
programs focus on your child’s developmental growth all with an eye towards future academic success.
We feature hands-on, sensory based exploration and play intertwined with a literature, art, science,
music and/or dance focus.
All programs encourage learning - meeting the child where they are - and
allowing for individuality while developing social skills and group readiness.
Kid's Music Circle with Noam Brown
Music Specialist Noam Brown leads the fully participatory class with live guitar and joyful singing, rhythm, and movement.

Baby Rhythms with First Steps Dance & Tumbling
A fun, fast moving 30-minute class for babies 6 weeks to walking. We will sing, dance, learn and play by using our different senses.
(Seasonal) FAU Circle TIme with the Infant Cognition Lab
Join us for Circle Time with an interactive themed storybook reading and fun
sensory activities.

Instructors bring children’s books to life through interactive performance, song, movement & props. An engaging art activity complements every class.
Messy Play
Let your little ones explore while developing important sensory skills - skills that build early scientific inquiry and creativity. Each class features multiple activities based around a common theme. Come play with us!
Tots in Tutus with First Steps Dance & Tumbling
First Steps Dance & Tumbling instructor Miss Amy Norris teaches this energetic movement and ballet class for ages 2 - 5.
Tumble Tots with First Steps Dance & Tumbling
Join us for a 30-minute movement and tumbling class for boys and girls.
Yoga Fun!
Children’s Yoga teacher Karen Lampert graciously donates her time, offering FREE classes. LIMIT 10 on a first come basis.
Art Explorations!
Exploring art "Preschool Style" with a different theme each series.
ABC's & 123's
A preschool/kindergarten readiness class for young children. Must sign up for whole series.
Preschool Science
Come explore basic preschool science principles with in this hands-on program.
The Art of the Story
Featuring one author/illustrator at each class, children will create their own art in the style of the featured book.
Let's Pretend
This 6-week series is EXPLORERS! Where shall we go? What shall we see? Come along and EXPLORE with me!!!
Dance with Me
Students will love singing songs and learning dance steps. Children and their caregivers will also learn basic ballet steps and terminology, and how to take turns across the floor In this 30-minute dance class.
